Baptist Health is hiring a Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Baptist Nassau in Fernandina Beach, FL. This is a PRN Night shift opportunity. The Emergency Department at Baptist Nassau provides high-quality, patient-centered emergency care to coastal communities in Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia. Job Responsibility:

  • Provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to patients requiring treatment for medical, surgical, and emergent conditions
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and care plans
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
  • Coordinate care with ancillary services to support optimal outcomes
  • Serve as a patient advocate, ensuring safety and satisfaction
  • Participate in staff meetings, unit-based initiatives, and continuous quality improvement

  • 1–2 years Medical Surgical Nursing Experience (required)
  • Telemetry Experience (required)
  • Hospital Experience (required)
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (required)

  • Emergency Department Experience (preferred)
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
