Job Description:

Baptist Health is hiring a Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Baptist Medical Center Beaches in Jacksonville Beach, FL. This is a full-time evening shift opportunity. Scheduled Shift 12:00pm-12:00am. The Emergency Department at Baptist Beaches provides convenient, high-quality care to coastal communities. This role is ideal for nurses who value teamwork and delivering excellent patient-centered care.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide care to patients requiring treatment of medical, surgical, or emergent conditions
  • Educate patients and families on diagnosis and plan of care
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
  • Coordinate care provided by ancillary services
  • Serve as a patient advocate to ensure safety and satisfaction
  • Participate in staff meetings and unit-based initiatives
  • Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Baptist Health

Requirements:

  • 1–2 years Medical Surgical Nursing Experience (required)
  • Telemetry Experience (required)
  • Emergency Department Experience (preferred)
  • Hospital Experience (required)
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (required)
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
  • Licensed Registered Nurse (required)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) (required)
