There is a heavy focus on oncology, surgical oncology, and bone marrow transplant. The RN must be qualified to care for the highest level of care, IMU, and have special training in critical care, oncology concepts, surgery and medicine. Job Responsibility:

Requirements:
Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing
Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of California
BLS/CPR and ACLS certifications at time of hire with commitment to get ART within six (6) months of hire date
A minimum of two (2) years of recent adult acute care RN experience at the IMU level of care or higher acuity
ED experience does not qualify
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple high-acuity patients while maintaining patient safety
Must be able to function in a fast-paced team environment, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and consistently demonstrate empathy and kindness to all staff and patients

Recent ED Inpatient (EDIP) experience as an RN
RN experience of oncology patient care, including management of immunocompromised patients or chemotherapy-related complications
