Job Description

Baptist Health is looking to add a Registered Nurse to our Cath Lab Department at our Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time opportunity with four 10-hour shifts Monday- Friday, 6:30am-5pm. Call is required for evenings, weekends and holidays. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiac Catheterization Lab team. This role involves providing high-quality care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate strong critical thinking and teamwork skills.

Job Responsibility

  • Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and related procedures
  • Monitor patients pre /intra / and post-procedure for safety and comfort
  • Administer medications and manage IV lines as needed
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and adhere to ACLS protocols
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory standards

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree - Nursing
  • 2 years Critical Care Experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
  • Licensed Registered Nurse Required

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's Degree - Nursing
  • Conscious Sedation Certification Preferred
  • Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) Preferred
