Job Description:

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Job Responsibility:

  • Help Facilitate Internal Aurora Transfers telephonically
  • Help Facilitate Non-Aurora Transfers telephonically, assessing documentation, MD triage, taking and entering orders
  • Will perform Tele Intake (telephonic or Video) assessments for patients in the ER that have a Behavioral Health Consult
  • Triage with appropriate on Call MD, along with taking and entering orders
  • Take Triage calls telephonically for patients looking for inpatient to see if medical clearance is needed prior to the patient arriving to the hospital for an assessment
  • On occasion preforming assessments for outpatient programs and triaging that assessment with the MD for recommended level of are and scheduling the patient for program
  • Providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care
  • Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
