Job Description:

The Inpatient Unit at Arthur Rank Hospice provides expert care to patients with complex and end of life care needs. We are holistic in our approach and the care is tailored to each person’s specific needs. The compassionate team of Nurses and Healthcare Assistants provide practical and holistic care supporting patients and their families. We have opportunities to join our bank services as a Registered Nurse, working ad-hoc shift bank shifts from our hospice in Cambridge.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide professional, patient centred palliative care
  • Ensure the highest possible standards of care are received by patients, their families and carers
  • Lead, support and encourage the sharing of knowledge and skills within the team
  • Work as part of a friendly and passionate multi-disciplinary team of specialists

Requirements:

  • NMC Registered Nurse (Adult) with post registration experience in palliative care or in community
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Subject to an Enhanced Level DBS Checks with Children's and Adult's Barred Lists included
