Job Responsibility

  • Deliver holistic, compassionate care that supports patients' personal, physical, and emotional needs
  • Undertake clinical tasks such as vital signs monitoring, wound care, catheter care, nutrition and hydration support, and mobility assistance
  • Recognise and escalate changes in a patient’s condition to senior nursing staff in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Contribute to ongoing patient assessments, care planning, implementation, and evaluation under the direction of a Registered Nurse
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation and care records in line with legal and professional standards

Requirements

  • NMC-registered Nursing Associate
  • Completion of an approved Nursing Associate training programme
  • Understanding of person-centred care and the role of the Nursing Associate within the wider team
  • Excellent communication, clinical, and organisational skills
  • Commitment to professional development and reflective practice
  • Experience in acute, surgical, outpatient, or community healthcare settings
  • Basic awareness of quality improvement, audit, or patient safety initiatives
  • Familiarity with electronic health records and care planning systems
