Job Description

Join our Main Campus Recovery Room/PACU! Primary Patient Population: Pediatric through Adult, Immediate post-operative period. Personnel RN Will Work With: OR/ ED/Inpatient RNs, Pre/Post Phase 2 staff, Anesthesia staff, Surgeons, PT, Radiology, Pharmacy. Number Of OR Suites/Cases: 26 beds (Bay platform), 40-50 surgical cases daily.

Job Responsibility

  • Maintain patient airway
  • Assess hemodynamic stability and support
  • Monitor sedation, neurological, neuromuscular, and sensory motor status
  • Provision of adequate pain and comfort measures
  • Assess Wound/incision integrity
  • Overall patient assessment

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation)
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
  • Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire
  • Current ACLS and PALS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire
