Job Description

Alcedo Care are recruiting experienced Registered Nurses with Tracheostomy experience to join our Rapid Response Team (RRT) delivering complex care to clients in their own homes. This is a dynamic regional role supporting clients and branch teams by covering urgent shifts, fast-track hospital discharges and complex care packages when additional clinical support is required.

Job Responsibility

  • Covering clinical shifts within complex care packages
  • Supporting fast-track hospital discharge packages
  • Delivering tracheostomy care and complex clinical interventions
  • Assessing and reviewing clients within their homes
  • Updating care plans and supporting safe care delivery
  • Providing clinical leadership and guidance to carers and healthcare assistants
  • Supporting staff competencies and clinical training where required
  • Communicating with families and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ensuring care is delivered in line with NMC standards

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with active NMC PIN
  • Tracheostomy experience – essential
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to travel between clients and branch teams
  • Experience within complex care / community nursing
