We are seeking an experienced RN to join our Community Based Acute Treatment (CBAT) Program, Inpatient Psychiatry Stepdown 24 hour program.

Job Responsibility

  • Providing psychiatric nursing care for patients ages 8-17 years
  • Administering and monitoring medications as part of treatment plans
  • Overseeing and managing therapeutic milieu and overseeing care provided by Milieu Counselor colleagues
  • Participating in individualized treatment planning and supervise the implementation and revision of plans
  • Utilizing interpersonal skills to establish and maintain therapeutic relationships
  • Providing patient/family education on aspects of care including symptom management and coping
  • Working as a team player and functioning as a member of an interdisciplinary team

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in nursing
  • 1+ years of experience in a behavioral health setting
  • Current Massachusetts license as a Registered Nurse (RN)

Nice to have

Inpatient and pediatric RN experience preferred
