We are seeking an experienced RN to join our Community Based Acute Treatment (CBAT) Program, Inpatient Psychiatry Stepdown 24 hour program.
Job Responsibility
Providing psychiatric nursing care for patients ages 8-17 years
Administering and monitoring medications as part of treatment plans
Overseeing and managing therapeutic milieu and overseeing care provided by Milieu Counselor colleagues
Participating in individualized treatment planning and supervise the implementation and revision of plans
Utilizing interpersonal skills to establish and maintain therapeutic relationships
Providing patient/family education on aspects of care including symptom management and coping
Working as a team player and functioning as a member of an interdisciplinary team
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in nursing
1+ years of experience in a behavioral health setting
Current Massachusetts license as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Nice to have
Inpatient and pediatric RN experience preferred
