The Dialysis Unit at Boston Children’s provides a spectrum of dialysis care to both chronic outpatients as well as acute inpatients. We support patients with peritoneal dialysis, hemodialysis and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) from neonates to adolescents. We have had the distinction of achieving the highest rank in the US News and World Report’s Best Children’s Hospitals Nephrology Specialty for many years.
Job Responsibility:
Working in a busy and highly regulated Dialysis Program
providing dialysis care on both inpatient and outpatient settings
Working 40 hours per week: Monday through Saturday, 10-hour shifts
On call requirement is one overnight shift/week
rotating Sunday on-call coverage
Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree in nursing
Minimum of 1 year RN experience required
Current Massachusetts license as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Nice to have:
Dialysis experience preferred (adult or pediatric), inpatient pediatric experience preferred
