Compass Associates are proud to be working in partnership with a well-established and community-focused elderly care provider to recruit a Registered Nurse (Days) for a nursing home located within a highly regarded retirement village setting in Sevenoaks, Kent.
Job Responsibility
Deliver high-quality nursing care to elderly residents within the service
Safely administer medications and maintain accurate MAR documentation
Complete and review person-centred care plans and clinical records
Monitor resident wellbeing and escalate concerns appropriately
Support residents requiring nursing interventions including catheter care, wound care and end-of-life care
Work collaboratively with carers, senior carers and clinical leadership teams
Ensure compliance with CQC standards and best practice clinical governance
Maintain effective communication with residents, relatives and healthcare professionals
Promote dignity, independence and person-centred care at all times
Support a positive and professional team culture throughout the home
Requirements
Registered Nurse (RGN) with an active NMC PIN
Experience working within elderly care, nursing homes or similar clinical settings
Strong clinical knowledge supporting older adults with nursing needs
Experience administering medication and maintaining accurate documentation
Comfortable working within a multidisciplinary care environment
Experience with catheter care, wound care and elderly nursing needs desirable
Experience using electronic care systems such as PCS or Atlas desirable
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Professional, compassionate and team-focused approach to care
Stable employment history preferred
