Job Description

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join the team within our Acute Cardiac Care Unit. The Heart Center at Boston Children’s Hospital stands at the forefront of pediatric cardiovascular care, renowned worldwide for pioneering treatments that have significantly enhanced survival rates for patients of all ages with congenital or acquired heart defects.

Job Responsibility

  • Providing specialized care to acutely ill medical and surgical cardiac patients with complex congenital and/or acquired heart disease
  • Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver family-centered care and ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Working 36 hours per week with day and overnight rotations, including every third weekend

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • 2 years of inpatient nursing experience
  • Current Massachusetts license as a Registered Nurse RN
  • Experience in cardiac or telemetry preferred
  • Pediatric experience preferred
