Job Description:

Registered nurse required for Manchester House, Albert Road, Southport. Permanent Full time position available. - NIGHT shifts! 8pm - 8am - ALL SHIFTS ARE ON A ROTA BASIS. *Alternate weekend availability required*. Our homes are run by caring, friendly teams who pride themselves on providing a secure, happy and welcoming atmosphere for all residents and visitors and maintaining the homes to a very high standard. Our homes are rated GOOD by CQC.

Job Responsibility:

  • Advising and working closely with the Care Team to deliver the highest standards of individual care to residents
  • Regularly reviewing and completing all documentation as required
  • Ensuring that the appropriate documentation reflects the care given and any clinical intervention
  • Leaving clear, concise and personalised instructions for ongoing care delivery
  • Monitoring and controlling residents’ nutritional and dietary requirements
  • Supporting, guiding and leading the team to ensure the safety of residents and staff

Requirements:

  • Currently registered with NMC for appropriate client group (valid PIN number)
  • Relevant care home experience
  • Experience in medication administration, wound care, infection control and pressure area care
