Have relevant care home experience
Have experience in medication administration, wound care, infection control and pressure area care

Job Responsibility

Advising and working closely with the Care Team to deliver the highest standards of individual care to residents
Regularly reviewing and completing all documentation as required
Ensuring that the appropriate documentation reflects the care given and any clinical intervention
Leaving clear, concise and personalised instructions for ongoing care delivery
Monitoring and controlling residents’ nutritional and dietary requirements
Supporting, guiding and leading the team to ensure the safety of residents and staff

current NMC registration
valid pin
good knowledge of the most up-to-date clinical practices
experience of producing well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments
understanding of regulatory frameworks, including DOLS/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines
dedicated and compassionate
person-centred, thoughtful approach to nursing

Job Responsibility

promote high standards of nursing care
ensure all staff are supervised appropriately and the shift runs in a smooth and efficient manner
perform all general nursing duties, following CQC and NMC guidelines, update care plans and administer safe medication
being dependable and flexible in order to meet the needs of the resident and the home
