Job Description:

Active Pathways is seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our team at Brookhaven and The Hamptons, located in Bamber Bridge, close to Preston. This is a rewarding opportunity to work across our 14-bed male only inpatient rehabilitation and 22-bed residential (with Mental Health Nursing) mixed gender service, providing essential care and support to help individuals live as independently as possible, throughout the Day.

Job Responsibility:

  • Delivering high-quality, person-centred care to individuals with enduring mental health needs
  • Supporting recovery, promoting independence and ensuring the safety and well-being of the people we support
  • Creating care plans, administering medication, monitoring mental and physical health, and responding calmly and effectively to any challenges that arise
  • Working as part of a multidisciplinary team and contributing to a supportive and recovery-focused environment

Requirements:

  • Experience in mental health or rehabilitation settings
  • An active NMC registration
  • Knowledge of current legislation
  • A holistic approach to promoting recovery and independence

Nice to have:

  • Experience in writing care plans and completing risk assessments
  • Knowledge of health and safety guidelines
  • Medication training
