Dovehaven Care Homes are recruiting for a Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at our Callands Care Home 30 bed dementia specialist, male only facility in Warrington. NIGHTS - 7pm - 7am on a rota basis with alternate weekend availability required - 44hr contract available!

Job Responsibility:

  • Promote high standards of nursing care
  • Ensure all staff are supervised appropriately and the shift runs in a smooth and efficient manner
  • Perform all general nursing duties, following CQC and NMC guidelines, update care plans and administer safe medication
  • Being dependable and flexible in order to meet the needs of the resident and the home

Requirements:

  • Current NMC registration
  • Valid pin
  • Good knowledge of the most up-to-date clinical practices
  • Experience of producing well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks, including DOLS/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines
  • Dedicated and compassionate
  • Person-centred, thoughtful approach to nursing
  • Alternate weekend availability required
