Registered Mental Health Nurse

• Provide consistent and compassionate support to children within residential and community settings
• Assist children in managing emotional and behavioural challenges, implementing agreed care plans
• Leading a team of care support workers to safeguard children with complex mental health needs
• Ensure safety of young people in mental health crises
• Accurate record keeping and reporting
• Overseeing restraint procedures
• Working with young people on DOLs
• Foster a safe, nurturing, and stable environment for young people
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to care planning discussions
• Able to work autonomously and be confident in safeguarding protocols
• Able to liaise with other healthcare & social care professionals and emergency services

• Demonstrated experience working specifically within Residential Children's settings
• Proven experience working with children who have experienced trauma
• Ideally, hold a valid UK driving licence
• however, this is not essential
• Flexibility to travel up to 1 hour to homes within the locality
• Availability for both day and night shifts, including long days with sleep-ins
• Eligible to work full-time hours in the UK without restrictions
