Job Description

Registered nurse required for Manchester House, Albert Road, Southport. Permanent Full time position available. - NIGHT shifts! 8pm - 8am - ALL SHIFTS ARE ON A ROTA BASIS. Alternate weekend availability required. Our homes are run by caring, friendly teams who pride themselves on providing a secure, happy and welcoming atmosphere for all residents and visitors and maintaining the homes to a very high standard. Our homes are rated GOOD by CQC. We are searching for a new Registered Mental Health Nurses to join us. You will be advising and working closely with the Care Team to deliver the highest standards of individual care to our residents, ensuring everyone is treated with respect and each individual's care plan is met.

Job Responsibility

  • Regularly reviewing and completing all documentation as required
  • Ensuring that the appropriate documentation reflects the care given and any clinical intervention
  • Leaving clear, concise and personalised instructions for ongoing care delivery
  • Monitoring and controlling residents' nutritional and dietary requirements
  • Supporting, guiding and leading the team to ensure the safety of residents and staff

Requirements

  • Currently registered with NMC for appropriate client group (valid PIN number)
  • Have relevant care home experience
  • Have experience in medication administration, wound care, infection control and pressure area care
