Registered Manager - Supported Living (LD, Autism & Complex Needs). We are seeking an experienced and values-led Registered Manager to lead two supported living services in Birmingham, delivering high-quality, person-centred care for adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs. This is a senior leadership role with full accountability for quality, compliance, performance, and financial viability, ensuring services consistently meet CQC standards and deliver positive outcomes for the people supported.
Job Responsibility:
Deliver high-quality, personalised care and support
Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and Key Lines of Enquiry
Lead, motivate, and develop staff teams through supervision, appraisal, and training
Be accountable for service quality, compliance, occupancy, and budgets
Promote a strong, customer-centred and outcome-focused culture
Use data and performance tools to manage financial and operational performance
Work with senior leaders to adapt and develop service models
Lead inspections, audits, and regulatory reporting
Participate in the out-of-hours rota, including evenings and weekends as required
Requirements:
NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or above)
Proven experience as a Registered Manager or Service Manager
Experience supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs
Strong knowledge of CQC requirements and regulatory frameworks
Experience managing Local Authority (LA) and CHC funded services
Budget management and financial performance experience
Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
Confidence using IT systems, including MS Teams
A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel locally
