Yorkare Homes is a leading luxury care home provider, based in East Yorkshire, with numerous Outstanding ratings from CQC. Our new home Marton Gate Manor was completed in Summer 2025. The Home is located on Marton Gate, close to Sewerby Hall and a short walk to the beach. Yorkare Homes aim for their residents is to enjoy the next chapter of their lives in a safe and luxurious environment, whilst being able to offer a varied and engaging range of social activities. This is achieved by our dedicated care teams, activity co-ordinators and our highly trained chefs. The Yorkare Homes Group provide luxurious facilities at each of their homes, whether it’s to share a meal or drink in the bar, sing-a-long with the planned live entertainment and musicians, enjoy a pamper session at their hairdressing and beauty salon, watch a film together in the cinema, or simply relax in their beautiful surroundings and gardens.

  • Acting as the primary point of contact and operational lead during Ofsted inspections, supported directly by the Quality Assurance Manager / Responsible Individual
  • Providing direct professional line management, regular supervision, annual appraisals, and performance management to the social work staff
  • Overseeing the end-to-end assessment pipeline for prospective foster carers, including the quality assurance of Stage 1 and Stage 2 Form F assessments and annual reviews
  • Managing and monitoring independent social workers engaged by the service to ensure assessments are robust, timely, and compliant
  • Acting as the lead operational Safeguarding Officer and Complaints Officer for the organisation, responding to child protection concerns, allegations, and Schedule 6/7 matters
  • Developing, maintaining, and publishing the Annual Training Calendar for foster carers and coordinating the delivery of Skills to Foster and induction programmes
  • Promoting placement stability by supporting placement officers with matching decisions and collaborating with Local Authorities to prevent placement breakdowns
  • Conducting annual consultations with foster carers and ensuring staff capture the feedback of looked-after children to continuously drive service improvements
