The Registered Manager will lead the Service Managers and wider team in the Levenshulme service, a residential service for individuals with Acquired Brain Injury or a neurological condition, providing slow-stream rehabilitation and both short and long-term residential care.
Job Responsibility:
Ensure the health and wellbeing of individuals we support and colleagues
Deliver outstanding quality and governance in line with legal, statutory, and regulatory obligations
Be present in services to coach and mentor colleagues
Maintain strong oversight of services including operations, annual leave, team meetings, and training compliance
Develop strong relationships with families, external professionals, and regulators
Play a pivotal role in transitioning new people into services
Understand the importance of documentation and empower teams to deliver excellent written communications and support plans
Deliver reporting to maximise quality and compliance
Be registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC)
Requirements:
Plenty of experience working with those with learning disabilities and/or mental health or complex behaviours across multiple different sites
Established Registered Manager looking for a new challenge
Keen eye for detail and a passion for quality and governance
Achieved level 4 or 5 in Health & Social Care or qualified through experience
Strong leadership values
Excellent communicator with an ability to influence at different levels
Excellent time management skills with the ability to work on own initiative and seek ways to continuously improve
Enjoy an environment where no two days are ever the same
Degree of flexibility required to lead from the front, covering shifts or taking a turn on the "on call" rota
Driving licence and access to a vehicle to travel within services
