Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager to join our team at Apple House. This role will include a joint registration between both our Corner Cottage & Caird Avenue services. Corner Cottage is a modern bungalow, supporting people with autism who have complex needs. Caird Avenue is a brand new service opening in August 2026. As the leader of your services your primary role will be to ensure the health and wellbeing of our individuals we support and colleagues.

Job Responsibility

  • Ensure health and wellbeing of individuals and colleagues
  • Deliver outstanding quality in line with legal, statutory, and regulatory obligations
  • Coach and mentor colleagues
  • Maintain strong oversight of services including annual leave, team meetings, training compliance
  • Develop relationships with families, external professionals and regulators
  • Transition new people into services from assessment to achieving full potential
  • Empower teams to deliver excellent written communications and support plans
  • Reporting to support quality and compliance

Requirements

  • Experience working with those with learning disabilities and/or mental health or complex behaviours across multiple different sites
  • Established Registered Manager looking for a new challenge
  • Keen eye for detail and passion for quality and governance
  • Level 4 or 5 in Health & Social Care or qualified through experience
  • Strong leadership values
  • Excellent communicator with ability to influence at different levels
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative and seek ways to continuously improve
  • Flexibility to cover shifts or take on call rota
  • Registration with Care Quality Commission (CQC)
