Job Responsibility

  • Enable the people we support to lead a fulfilling life and to maximise their independence to enable them to achieve their full potential
  • Ensure the wellbeing of the team is prioritised, and that they are given the appropriate tools and opportunities to excel in their current role and future career
  • Ensure the service is run in an efficient and responsible manner, balancing the achievement of budget with the ethos of excellent quality
  • Effectively manage financial performance, with financial resources appropriately managed & controlled
  • Promote quality assurance, working towards legal, clinical, statutory, and organisational obligations, to develop effective work strategies and processes
  • Ensure full and accurate reporting of management information, maximising quality and compliance

Requirements

  • Plenty of experience working with those with Learning Disabilities and complex behaviours
  • Be an experienced Service Manager looking for a new challenge – with a background in Supported Living
  • Have a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care
  • Bring strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Be confident, flexible and efficient – you’re happy to work on a shift basis and, where required, be on call
  • You’ll be committed to providing person-centred care

  • Offering to counsel, fielding medical questions, and soliciting information on a patient’s medical history to provide optimal care, when appropriate under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist
  • Taking telephonic prescriptions from the prescriber, and calling the prescriber to clarify prescriptions or facilitate medication changes, where allowed by state regulation
  • Maintaining the highest level of self-awareness and providing in-the-moment coaching, training, and mentoring to pharmacy team members while sharing best practices
  • Completing basic inventory activities, as permitted by law, and as directed by the pharmacy leadership team, such as accurately putting away medication deliveries and completing cycle counts, returns-to-stocks, waiting bin inventories, etc.
