Job Description

We are recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a specialist mental health residential service in Walsall. This service provides short-term accommodation and 24-hour support for up to 15 adults with mental health needs, helping individuals build the skills and confidence needed to live independently in the community.

Job Responsibility

  • Leading and managing the staff team
  • Ensuring compliance with CQC standards and KLOEs
  • Driving service quality and continuous improvement
  • Managing budgets and service performance
  • Working with local authorities, NHS partners and stakeholders
  • Supporting residents with mental health needs to achieve recovery and independence
  • Participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota and occasional night audits

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' management experience within a mental health service
  • Experience working with adults with complex mental health needs
  • Experience managing residential care services
  • Strong understanding of CQC regulations and compliance
  • Health or Social Care qualification Level 4 or above (Level 5 desirable)
  • Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills
  • Full driving licence or ability to travel
