Registered Manager - Children's Residential (EBD) Location: Erdington, West Midlands Salary: £55,000 per annum + overtime opportunities Home: 3-bed Children's Residential (EBD) Ofsted: Good Contract: Full-time, Permanent Are you an experienced Registered Manager or a strong Deputy ready to step up? We are recruiting for a Registered Manager to lead a well-established 3-bed children's residential home in Erdington, supporting young people with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable service with a Good Ofsted rating, where you can make a real difference to young people's lives while leading a dedicated team. The Role As Registered Manager, you will take full responsibility for the home, ensuring: High-quality, child-centred care is delivered at all times The home remains fully compliant with Ofsted and Children's Homes Regulations (2015) Staff are effectively supported, supervised, and developed Safeguarding is always at the forefront of practice The home continues to improve and achieve positive outcomes for young people You will lead from the front, creating a safe, nurturing, and structured environment where children can thrive. Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day running of the home Lead, motivate, and develop the staff team Ensure safeguarding, risk management, and care planning are robust Maintain compliance and prepare for Ofsted inspections Build strong relationships with local authorities and external professionals Monitor performance, quality, and service delivery What We're Looking For Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (Children & Young People) or working towards Experience within children's residential care Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding Confident leadership and decision-making skills Passion for improving outcomes for children and young people What's on Offer £55,000 salary Overtime opportunities Stable, well-performing home (Good Ofsted) Career progression opportunities Supportive senior management team
