The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional, person-centred care to adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. Job Responsibility:
Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the service, leading a team of care professionals, and fostering a positive, collaborative work environment
Ensuring that residents receive the highest standard of care tailored to their individual needs. You will be instrumental in promoting person-centred care and continuously improving the service’s quality
Maintaining compliance with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards and other relevant regulatory frameworks, conducting audits, and implementing any necessary improvements
Providing leadership and support for the care team, including training, supervision, and performance management to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce
Managing budgets, resource allocation, and ensuring the efficient running of the service while maintaining financial sustainability
Building and maintaining strong relationships with residents' families, external professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcomes for service users
Requirements:
A highly experienced Registered Manager with a proven track record in managing residential and supported living services for adults with learning disabilities and complex behaviours
Demonstrated leadership skills, with a strong ability to motivate teams and build positive relationships through excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Possesses a minimum of Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care (or equivalent), with a commitment to continuous professional development, including support for progression to Level 4 and Level 5 qualifications
Well-versed in CQC regulations and standards, consistently maintaining high levels of care and compliance
Experienced in managing services for adults with a variety of complex needs, including learning disabilities, autism, and physical disabilities, with a solid understanding of risk management and safeguarding practices
Nice to have:
