Compass Associates are proud to be working with an established domiciliary care provider to recruit a Registered Manager for a developing branch in the Epsom area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager to take ownership of a branch with solid foundations and clear growth potential. The branch has been operating for 2–3 years and has recently achieved a ‘Good’ CQC rating, providing a strong platform for the incoming Registered Manager to build upon. The service is still in a development phase.
Job Responsibility:
Hold CQC Registered Manager status for the branch
Lead the day-to-day operations of the domiciliary care service
Drive recruitment, onboarding and retention of care staff
Increase care hours across private and local packages
Ensure high standards of care delivery and compliance
Manage and develop the office team and care workforce
Support care delivery outside standard hours where required
Participate in on-call duties (structure linked to service size)
Build relationships within the local community and referral network
Requirements:
Experience as a Registered Manager within domiciliary care
Strong understanding of CQC standards and compliance
Proven experience in recruitment and team development
Ability to drive service growth and performance
Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
Flexible approach to supporting the service outside core hours
Nice to have:
Experience growing a developing or underperforming branch
Strong knowledge of private care markets
Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment
What we offer:
Bonus scheme up to £5,000 (linked to growth, quality and retention)
Mileage paid at 35p per mile
Additional pay for care delivery outside standard hours
On-call payments linked to service size
