Job Description

Compass Associates are delighted to be supporting a leading UK provider of residential addiction treatment services in the recruitment of a Registered Centre Manager for their specialist rehabilitation service in Banbury. The service is one of the organisation's largest and most specialist residential rehabilitation centres, delivering structured treatment programmes for individuals experiencing substance misuse, eating disorders, and young adult mental health needs. The centre provides a highly therapeutic environment, supporting predominantly privately funded clients alongside local authority-funded placements through tailored recovery pathways. Together, we are seeking an experienced Centre Manager to take full operational responsibility for this complex service. The successful candidate will provide visible leadership across the multidisciplinary team, maintain high standards of clinical governance and compliance, and continue driving service development across the centre's specialist provisions.

Job Responsibility

  • Full operational leadership and management of the rehab centre
  • Embedding a culture of accountability, structure and service delivery focus
  • Ensuring safe, effective and compliant delivery of residential rehabilitation programmes
  • Overseeing care planning, risk management and MDT coordination
  • Driving service improvement and operational development initiatives
  • Maintaining CQC compliance and supporting ongoing governance requirements

Requirements

  • Experience as a CQC Registered Manager working within substance misuse / addiction recovery/ eating disorders or wider mental health services
  • Familiarity ideally with residential settings, though supported living is also relevant
  • Ability to manage and stabilise teams within a change or improvement setting
  • Strong understanding of service delivery, governance and operational management
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management is preferred, though not essential
