Job Description:

This is a senior Registered Manager opportunity within a complex nursing neurological care centre, comprising of beds for complex neurological nursing and rehabilitation, plus a specialist dementia wing. The service is currently focused on culture change, quality improvement, and strengthening CQC compliance, particularly around medication management and care planning. Occupancy is stable, with capacity to grow once quality foundations are firmly embedded.

Job Responsibility:

  • Fully accountable for the operational, clinical, and cultural leadership of the service
  • Empower nurse leaders, improve team cohesion, and embed robust governance systems
  • Focus on safety, quality, and sustainable improvement

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Registered Manager within complex nursing or specialist care services
  • Background in neurological care highly desirable (complex care experience essential)
  • Strong CQC knowledge with a track record of achieving Good or Outstanding ratings
  • Credible and confident leader of nurses and multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience addressing quality concerns, governance gaps, and cultural challenges
  • Calm, decisive, and resilient approach to leadership and change management
  • Ability to delegate effectively while maintaining strong clinical oversight
