Job Description:

Are you an experienced Registered Manager ready to lead a large, established residential service and drive real improvements for adults with complex needs? This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a 33-bed adult residential home and play a key role in developing a service that truly enhances people’s lives. We’re looking for a confident and motivated leader with strong CQC knowledge, experience supporting individuals with physical disabilities, learning disabilities and complex care needs, and a track record of managing and developing large staff teams. This is a service with a clear development plan in place, so the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the home and continuing to improve outcomes for the people who live there.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide strong leadership and management of a large multidisciplinary staff team
  • Ensure the service meets and exceeds CQC standards and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care for adults with physical disabilities, learning disabilities and complex care needs
  • Lead service improvement and deliver on a clear development plan to enhance the provision
  • Manage staffing, performance, training and workforce development
  • Work collaboratively with external professionals, families and partner services
  • Ensure safeguarding, risk management and quality assurance processes are robust and effective

Requirements:

  • Significant experience working within adult residential care services
  • Strong understanding of CQC regulations and compliance
  • Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and complex needs
  • A proven track record of managing large staff teams
  • Experience improving or developing residential services

Nice to have:

  • Experience managing multiple services or holding dual registration
  • Experience working alongside education services
