This is a senior Registered Home Manager position within a complex care service supporting adults with highly complex needs, including acquired brain injury (ABI), spinal injuries, complex dementia, mental health conditions, and alcohol or substance dependencies. The role is hands-on and operational, requiring a resilient and confident manager to stabilise the service, lead ongoing development, and embed a strong culture of quality, safety, and accountability.
Job Responsibility:
Leading the service and ensuring safe, person-centred care for residents with complex and challenging needs
Preparing for, managing, and responding to CQC inspections
Driving service stabilisation and overseeing the recommissioning of additional floors and units
Supporting, coaching, and developing a multidisciplinary staff team
Managing budgets, staffing, and operational performance across a large service
Building effective relationships with commissioners, local authorities, and external professionals
Ensuring compliance with all regulatory, safeguarding, and governance requirements
Promoting a strong, visible leadership presence and positive workplace culture
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Registered Manager within complex care, specialist, or mental health services
Strong understanding of managing residents with challenging behaviours and high-risk needs
Experience managing large or multi-unit services
Evidence of successful CQC inspections and service improvement
Resilient, confident leadership style with the ability to manage change
Strong operational, governance, and stakeholder management skills
