We are excited to announce the development of our new Children's Home Project in Shildon, in partnership with Durham County Council. PIPS will provide care and support to 3 children / young people who have additional complex needs. Jubilee House is a specifically designed children's home which contains 3 individual spacious living spaces. This is an opportunity to be part of this project from the start, the role involves development of the service in which you will play a key role. You will be involved in the assessment of young people, recruitment of staff and operational development of the service. PIPS is an established support provider in the North East who have a commitment to Positive Behaviour Support. We have developed a great reputation with commissioners, families and the young people within our care. We offer competitive salaries, training and development. We are looking for a registered manager who - has essential leadership skills, organised, great communication and the right values that align with PIPS. Champion a trauma-informed, relationship-based approach that promotes emotional safety and belonging. Committed to working in partnership with the Team Around the Family. See the child / young person as unique and as an individual, listening and understanding their needs. To be proactive to provide good quality care and support that enables the young person to develop and grow. Candidates need to have a minimum two year's experience working in a leadership role in a children's residential care setting. Ideally you will have Level 5 or willing to work toward within a 2-year period.

Requirements
