You will be responsible for the operational and care standards of a residential and dementia care service. Working closely with senior leadership, you will ensure policies and procedures are followed while maintaining a motivated, well-supported, and high-performing team. This role is ideal for a hands-on, care-led leader passionate about delivering outstanding residential and dementia care.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and manage day-to-day operations in line with established policies and procedures
Provide visible leadership, coaching and mentoring staff to maintain high-quality care
Ensure residents’ needs are met and care standards are consistently delivered
Present service improvement ideas to senior leadership for review and approval
Maintain and build upon the home’s GOOD CQC rating
Support workforce stability and staff development in a rural setting, including management of recurring agency staff
Requirements:
NVQ Level 5 in Leadership/Management in Health & Social Care
Proven experience as a Registered Manager in residential and dementia care
Strong, personable, and care-led leadership style
Confident in coaching, mentoring, and driving team performance
Ability to work within established processes while maintaining high standards
Nice to have:
Experience managing in rural locations with occasional agency staff
Previous experience maintaining or achieving GOOD CQC ratings
