Job Description:

Compass Associates are delighted to be partnering with a well-established and growing care provider to recruit a Registered Home Manager for a medium sized care home based in the Leeds area. The home is undergoing a positive period of transformation, transitioning towards specialist dementia care, and now requires a strong, visible leader to take full operational and commercial ownership of the service. This is a career-defining opportunity for a values-led Home Manager to embed compliance and strengthen team culture.

Job Responsibility:

  • Take full operational and commercial ownership of the service
  • Responsible for all aspects of operational performance, including governance, compliance, staffing, budgets, KPIs, and occupancy
  • Drive continuous improvement and long-term stability
  • Lead a specialist dementia nursing home undergoing transformation

Requirements:

  • Passion and knowledge of quality Dementia Care
  • NVQ Level 5
  • Management of a nursing care home and/or nurse qualification (RGN/RMN/RNLD)
  • Experienced Registered Home Manager with a background in nursing and/or complex dementia care
  • Strong knowledge of CQC compliance, clinical governance, and team leadership
  • Excellent commercial awareness with a proven ability to improve occupancy, staff retention, and service performance
  • Emotional intelligence required to lead specialist dementia services
  • Resilient, accountable, and values-driven leader who inspires confidence, builds trust quickly, and leads from the front
