Job Description:

Compass Associates are proud to be partnering with a reputable care provider in their search for a Registered Home Manager to lead an elderly care home located around Sandbach. The service provides high-quality residential, nursing and dementia care to older adults. This is a key leadership role focused on driving quality, compliance and commercial performance, while ensuring a warm, person-centred home for residents and their families. The successful candidate will be a visible presence within the home, leading and motivating the team while maintaining strong relationships with residents, relatives and external stakeholders. You’ll be supported by a seasoned Deputy Manager, a strong senior leadership team and committed staff team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead an elderly care home
  • Drive quality, compliance and commercial performance
  • Ensure a warm, person-centred home for residents and their families
  • Be a visible presence within the home
  • Lead and motivate the team
  • Maintain strong relationships with residents, relatives and external stakeholders

Requirements:

  • RGN / RMN / RNLD or previous experience of managing a nursing care home
  • Evidence of successful CQC inspections
  • Supportive and visible leadership style
  • Experienced Registered Manager, either Nurse qualified or with previous experience of managing an elderly nursing home
  • Commercial awareness with an exposure to budgets, increasing occupancy and passion for sustainability
  • A detailed understanding of compliance, safeguarding and quality assurance
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement within a care home
  • Leads by example, is visible within the home and can inspire, develop and retain a high-performing team
