Job Description:

We are looking for a qualified RGN for our Dean Wood Manor Home situated on Spring Road, Orrell in Wigan. Registered General Nurse - DAYS - 3 x 12-hour shifts per week on a rota basis with alternate weekend availability required! 7am - 7pm. You will be advising and working closely with the Care Team to deliver the highest standards of individual care to our residents, ensuring everyone is treated with respect and each individual’s care plan is met.

Job Responsibility:

  • Regularly reviewing and completing all documentation as required
  • Ensuring that the appropriate documentation reflects the care given and any clinical intervention
  • Leaving clear, concise and personalised instructions for ongoing care delivery
  • Monitoring and controlling residents’ nutritional and dietary requirements
  • Supporting, guiding and leading the team to ensure the safety of residents and staff

Requirements:

  • Currently registered with NMC for appropriate client group (valid PIN number)
  • Relevant care home experience
  • Experience in medication administration, wound care, infection control and pressure area care
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good leadership skills
  • The ability to use initiative
  • Good time management & organisation
  • Be a team player
  • Have an eye for accuracy
