Job Description

RGN (Days & Nights) at Millbrook House Nursing Home, Southport. 48hour contract, four days a week, or 36hour contract, three nights, 12 hour shifts 8am-8pm on a rota basis with every other weekend availability required.

Job Responsibility

  • Working closely with the care and management team, you will promote high standards of nursing care
  • Ensure all staff are supervised appropriately and the shift runs in a smooth and efficient manner
  • Perform all general nursing duties, following CQC and NMC guidelines, update care plans and administer safe medication
  • Being dependable and flexible in order to meet the needs of the resident and the home

Requirements

  • Are currently registered with NMC for appropriate client group (valid PIN number)
  • Have relevant care home experience
  • Have experience in medication administration, wound care, infection control and pressure area care
  • Calm, dependable, and compassionate
  • Comfortable working independently
  • Team players who support others
  • Genuinely motivated to make a difference
