As a Registered General Nurse, you’ll play a key role in delivering high standards of clinical care while guiding and supporting the wider care team to ensure residents receive safe, person-centred support.
Job Responsibility:
Delivering high-quality, person-centred nursing care
Advising, guiding, and supporting the wider care team
Administering medication safely and accurately
Monitoring residents' nutritional and dietary needs
Supporting wound care, infection control, and pressure area care
Reviewing and completing care documentation accurately
Ensuring clinical interventions are clearly recorded
Leaving concise and personalised instructions for ongoing care
Leading by example to promote a safe environment for residents and staff
Building positive relationships with residents and families
Requirements:
Currently registered with the NMC for the appropriate client group (valid PIN required)
Previous care home experience
Experience in medication administration
Knowledge of wound care, infection control, and pressure area care
Strong leadership and communication skills
Good time management and organisational abilities
