Job Description:

We are looking for a qualified RGN for our Dean Wood Manor Home situated on Spring Road, Orrell in Wigan. Registered General Nurse - DAYS - 3 x 12-hour shifts per week on a rota basis with alternate weekend availability required! 7am - 7pm. Our homes are run by caring, friendly teams who pride themselves on providing a secure, happy and welcoming atmosphere for all residents and visitors and maintaining the homes to a very high standard. Our homes are rated GOOD by CQC. You will be supported by a program of induction, training and development throughout your career with us.

Job Responsibility:

  • Regularly reviewing and completing all documentation as required
  • Ensuring that the appropriate documentation reflects the care given and any clinical intervention
  • Leaving clear, concise and personalised instructions for ongoing care delivery
  • Monitoring and controlling residents’ nutritional and dietary requirements
  • Supporting, guiding and leading the team to ensure the safety of residents and staff
  • Advising and working closely with the Care Team to deliver the highest standards of individual care to residents

Requirements:

  • Currently registered with NMC for appropriate client group (valid PIN number)
  • Relevant care home experience
  • Experience in medication administration, wound care, infection control and pressure area care
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good leadership skills
  • The ability to use initiative
  • Good time management & organisation
  • Be a team player
  • Have an eye for accuracy
  • Be proactive and enthusiastic
  • Be passionate about delivering high-quality care
