Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and fast-thinking Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join a high-performing team within one of the busiest Emergency Departments in Preston. Job Responsibility

Requirements

  • Qualified Registered General Nurse (RGN)
  • Valid NMC Registration
  • Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willing to process a new one)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • At least 6 months of experience in an acute NHS setting (A&E or Assessment Suite experience is highly desirable)
  • Excel in clinical assessment and triage
  • Proficient in emergency clinical skills, including cannulation, venepuncture, and ECGs
  • Be a calm and effective communicator
  • Act as a mentor to junior staff and students
  • Be confident in managing high-stress situations
