Registered Fostering Manager

• Acting as a designated person for safeguarding, ensuring all policies are followed, including LADO consultations and timely Schedule 7 notifications
• Providing structured, reflective supervision to Practice Managers to foster autonomous decision-making and leadership competence
• Maintaining full regulatory compliance and oversight of social work practice, including the auditing of case files and decision-making rationales
• Ensuring the growth of locality-based communities (clusters) to enhance placement stability and foster parent retention
• Embedding trauma-informed approaches across the service to improve outcomes and resilience for children in care
• Contributing to the annual planning cycle, budgeting, and the development of the agency's learning and development offer
• Monitoring service performance through KPIs, annual appraisals, and the "voice of the child" feedback mechanisms

• Must be a Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England (SWE)
• Possession of (or working towards) a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Care or equivalent
• At least 3 years of management experience, ideally within the independent fostering sector
• Comprehensive understanding of safeguarding procedures and regulatory standards
• Exceptional crisis management, communication, and people management skills
• A full UK driving licence is essential for this role
