The Registered Dietitian / Marketing Coordinator works closely with on-site Operations, account leadership, and Corporate Marketing to bring Aramark’s dining and wellness vision to life at Old Dominion University. This hybrid role serves as both the campus nutrition expert and a brand champion - leading nutrition education, guest engagement, and marketing initiatives that enhance the student experience, support wellbeing, and drive participation and sales. The position coordinates, organizes, and executes communication strategies, nutrition programs, and experiential marketing efforts across dining locations and platforms.
Job Responsibility:
Serves as the on-site Registered Dietitian, providing nutrition expertise, menu analysis, and allergen oversight
Collaborates with culinary teams on recipe and menu development aligned with nutrition guidelines and menu labeling regulations
Oversees nutrition analysis, ingredient accuracy, and allergen declarations
Supports dietary accommodations and works with campus accessibility and health services as needed
Provides nutrition education through tabling events, cooking demonstrations, presentations, and wellness programming
Supports the operations team in executing innovation launches that drive engagement and profit growth
Leads the execution of location-specific marketing campaigns across print, digital, and social channels
Coordinates guest engagement events showcasing menus, programs, and vendor partnerships
Develops creative presentations and marketing materials aligned to business goals
Conducts market research (surveys, intercepts, trend analysis) and translates insights into action plans
Tracks participation, campaign performance, and sales results
Acts as a brand ambassador, ensuring consistency across all communications
Builds relationships with university partners, student organizations, vendors, and the campus community
Supports student interns and cross-functional teams
Supports additional Aramark locations or projects as required
Requirements:
Registered Dietitian credential with active CDR registration and licensure
Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Science, Culinary Arts, or related field
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital communication platforms
Nice to have:
2+ years of experience in nutrition counseling, hospitality, or campus dining
Experience executing print, digital, and social marketing campaigns
Adobe Creative Suite and Canva experience
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
