Rosewood Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, a leading provider of high-quality healthcare, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dietician to join our team. As a Registered Dietician, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the nutritional well-being of our residents by creating personalized meal plans, providing nutrition counseling, and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of residents' nutritional needs and develop individualized meal plans that cater to their specific requirements
  • Provide nutrition counseling and education to residents, families, and fellow staff members
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans that address residents' nutritional needs
  • Monitor and track resident progress, making adjustments to meal plans as necessary
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in nutrition and gerontological dietetics
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to the development of policies and procedures related to nutrition and dietetics

Requirements:

  • Must be a registered dietitian (RD) or eligible for registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
  • Bachelor's degree in nutrition, dietetics, or a related field
  • Prior experience in a healthcare setting, with a focus on gerontological dietetics preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
