We are looking for a Registered Community Nurse who is dedicated to making every moment count. Suitable applicants must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). As a Registered Community Nurse you will use your knowledge and professional judgement to ensure our residents health and wellbeing needs are met. You will work as part of the Community Nursing team and closely with the Care Home Managers and staff teams to provide the highest level of person-centred care. This role requires excellent clinical skills and a passion for improving the lives of our residents. Due to the nature of this role, a full, valid UK driving licence and access to your own transport are essential.
Job Responsibility
Provide evidence-based nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating resident care across all Parklands Homes
Communicate effectively with managers and shift leaders
act as a nursing resource and provide support during care delivery, GP/NHS visits, and mealtimes
Assist with medication administration, physiological measurements, and the safe disposal of clinical waste
maintain and monitor equipment and supplies
Step in as Shift Leader when required
provide on-call support and collaborate with night nurses and other medical professionals
Maintain accurate, confidential nursing records
follow Parklands' policies and Quality Management System
carry out audits and ensure proper documentation
Support and train non-nursing staff, stay current with nursing practice, attend mandatory training, and maintain NMC registration
Assist with palliative and terminal care, support residents through the dying process, and offer bereavement support to families
Requirements
