Radfield Home Care specialises in providing personalised, private care for older people in their own home, Our mission is to make ageing a more enjoyable and rewarding experience for all involved and our Registered Care Managers have a huge role to play in making it happen. You love the challenge of a busy working environment where no two days are ever the same. You’re a people person. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore the role will be subject to enhanced DBS disclosure and satisfactory references. The Registered Care Manager will undergo a probationary period for the first six months of their employment. This is a time in which the Care Manager can determine whether the role is suitable for them and Radfield Home Care will assess whether the Registered Care Manager is meeting the standards required and is demonstrating the correct approach and skill set for the role. Probation may be extended which is at the discretion of the directors. The Registered Care Manager is entitled to the statutory paid holiday allocation per annum. Additional unpaid leave is strictly at the director’s discretion.

Job Responsibility:

  • Taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of the Radfield Home Care service
  • Driving success and growth by promoting the right working environment, maintaining standards and ensuring quality
  • Making sure that our care professionals get the support they need and our clients get the care that’s right for them

Requirements:

  • Experience of recruiting, managing and developing a team
  • Previous experience working for a home care provider is preferable
  • A full UK driver’s licence and access to a vehicle is essential
  • Previous care experience in roles such as care home manager, care coordinator, deputy manager, field care supervisor, and care manager
