Compass Associates are pleased to be working on behalf of a values-led national domiciliary care provider to recruit an experienced Registered Care Manager for one of their established branches. This opportunity would suit a people-focused leader who is passionate about quality, community-based care and enjoys leading teams to deliver consistently high standards across domiciliary, respite and live-in services. As Registered Care Manager, the successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day leadership and performance of a domiciliary care branch, ensuring safe, personalised and high-quality care is delivered to all service users. The role carries genuine influence, combining operational leadership, quality governance and community engagement, while supporting sustainable branch growth.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and develop a high-performing, values-driven care and office team
Ensure outstanding standards of care across domiciliary, respite and live-in services
Maintain full regulatory compliance, embedding a “right first time” culture
Drive quality assurance, audits and continuous improvement activity
Build strong relationships with local authorities, healthcare professionals and community partners
Support business growth by strengthening local presence and reputation
Monitor performance, budgets and KPIs to improve efficiency and profitability
Work collaboratively with central functions including Operations, Quality, HR, Finance and Marketing
Share best practice across the wider management team and region
Requirements:
Proven experience leading and developing teams
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and performance metrics
Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and quality frameworks
Highly organised, resilient and adaptable leadership style
Confidence using systems, data and technology to inform decision-making
Experience working with external partners or third-party providers
Nice to have:
Experience within domiciliary care or a related regulated sector
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Care (or willingness to work towards)
Knowledge of CQC or CIW regulatory standards
Previous Registered Manager or senior management experience
