Job Responsibility:
Take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring high standards of care, safety, and compliance
Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing care team, promoting a positive and inclusive culture
Ensure all care is person-centred, with regularly reviewed care plans that meet residents’ needs
Maintain full compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding, and all relevant legislation
Drive occupancy and revenue growth through effective marketing and relationship building
Manage budgets and expenditure, ensuring financial targets are achieved
Oversee recruitment, training, performance management, and retention of staff
Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external professionals
Lead on quality assurance, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure safe staffing levels through effective rota and absence management
Promote a safe, welcoming, and high-quality living environment for residents
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Registered Manager within a care home setting
Strong knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory compliance
Demonstrated success in leading and developing teams
Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and performance
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A compassionate, resilient, and proactive leadership style
Passionate about delivering outstanding care and improving residents’ lives
Confident using digital systems and care management software
