Job Responsibility:

  • Take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring high standards of care, safety, and compliance
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing care team, promoting a positive and inclusive culture
  • Ensure all care is person-centred, with regularly reviewed care plans that meet residents’ needs
  • Maintain full compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding, and all relevant legislation
  • Drive occupancy and revenue growth through effective marketing and relationship building
  • Manage budgets and expenditure, ensuring financial targets are achieved
  • Oversee recruitment, training, performance management, and retention of staff
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external professionals
  • Lead on quality assurance, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure safe staffing levels through effective rota and absence management
  • Promote a safe, welcoming, and high-quality living environment for residents

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Registered Manager within a care home setting
  • Strong knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory compliance
  • Demonstrated success in leading and developing teams
  • Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and performance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A compassionate, resilient, and proactive leadership style
  • Passionate about delivering outstanding care and improving residents’ lives
  • Confident using digital systems and care management software
