Job Description

You will work one-on-one with children ages 18 months to 8 years using play-based ABA therapy. Follow personalized treatment plans and collect simple session data, help children learn through play, movement, reading, games, and hands-on activities, stay active and engaged throughout therapy sessions, maintain a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment, collaborate with a supportive team focused on helping kids grow and succeed.

  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Willingness to complete paid RBT certification within 20 days of hire
  • Team mindset: may occasionally help support a nearby ABC clinic if additional coverage is needed

  • External applicants: At least 3-4 years of experience in ABA working directly with children with autism in a Behavior Technician or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) role

  • Apply evidence‑based ABA strategies (e.g., reinforcement, prompting, modeling, redirection) to reduce behaviors that interfere with learning and social participation
  • Assist students during transitions and daily routines, including arrival/dismissal, hallway movement, lunch, recess, and specials, while promoting independence and safety
  • Assist students with activities of daily living (ADLs) as outlined in IEPs or support plans, including toileting, handwashing, feeding, dressing, and personal hygiene, while promoting independence and dignity
  • Support skill development related to independence and self‑care, using prompting and fading strategies to increase student autonomy in ADLs and functional routines
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers to ensure consistency of behavioral supports across the school day
