Job Description:

The Regional Vice President, Pharmacy Sales is responsible for leading consultative sales efforts to achieve sales and revenue goals for Meritain Pharmacy Solutions. This role requires selling into the pharmacy/PBM segment and fostering strategic alliances to support enterprise growth.

Job Responsibility:

  • ability to work with multiple sales channels to sell MPS products
  • delivers on sales targets, quotas, and budgets for the assigned region and works with the Meritain medical sales team to implement effective sales strategies and objectives
  • maximizes sales by articulating how enterprise capabilities can contribute to constituents’ long-term strategies
  • executes, and communicates MPS’ comprehensive strategy that is aligned with prospect’s objectives, financial position and strategy
  • fosters strategic alliances with key clients, business partners, and stakeholders
  • delivers organized polished presentations of solutions with benefits tied to constituent’s needs
  • partners with account management to create a renewal strategy that identifies profitable growth and cross-sell opportunities
  • contributes to complex contract negotiations
  • monitors industry information and competitive environment to position the enterprise’s strengths
  • cultivates strong relationships with brokers/consultants, customers, and peers focusing on larger, more complex accounts/prospects

Requirements:

  • 5 - 7 years of successful experience in the healthcare, or PBM space with responsibility for the above sales qualifications
  • ability to travel 50% - 75%
  • bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Nice to have:

  • experience in cultivating productive external client and consultant relationships
  • new business sales experience
  • demonstrated ability to leverage strategies necessary to attain sales objectives for assigned products/capabilities
